Binding Services

Binding your least favorite part of quilting? Want to receive your quilt back completely done? I offer binding services!

Binding services will add an additional 3 days to your delivery time.

Make Binding

$15.00 flat fee to cut and prepare 2.5" binding. This is done using cotton only. No Minky, knit or flannel.

Cost: $15 (flat fee)

Sew Binding to Front Only

You provide 2.5" cotton binding already prepared, neatly folded and ready to sew on. I will sew it to the front of your quilt top by machine and return it back to you ready for you to complete sewing on the back. (Please specify if you want me to leave the ends connected or unconnected.)

Cost: $.15 per linear inch

Sew Binding Front and Back

Service includes Box #2 above and I will hand finish the binding on the back. I do not sew the back of binding using the domestic machine as I much prefer the professional look and finish hand sewing provides. This is a great way for you to get your quilt back completed! All you have to do is enjoy your hard work.

Cost: $.20 per linear inch

Notes

If you select binding service option #2 or #3 and you want me to also make the binding for you, please add the $15 flat fee cost to your cost per linear inch.

To figure linear inches please add your 2 times the width plus 2 times the length plus an extra 10 inches to be sure you have enough to connect the ends. Not sure? I can help you figure this out.

If you want me to make your binding out of the same fabric as your backing, please be sure your backing is a minimum of 8" larger than your quilt top instead of the standard 4".

Trimming is included in the cost of attaching binding to your quilt.

I do not make or attach bias binding.
